Human Design Channels the complete list of all 36

36 channels — every wire between two centres, and the gates that make it

What this list gives you

Below is all 36 channels, each shown with its two gates, the two centres it joins, and whether it wires a motor centre to the Throat. You can find a channel by its number pair, or scan for every channel that touches a given centre — the Throat, the Sacral, the Ajna, wherever your attention is. The table is here to be used, not gated: nothing to download, no email address requested, no account. It renders directly on the page and is styled to print or save as a PDF straight from your browser, so a paper copy or an offline reference costs you nothing beyond the click.

What a channel actually is

A channel is a fixed wire between two centres, built from two specific gates — one gate sitting at each end. Neither gate alone does anything definitional; a channel only forms when both are activated, whether by the same person’s chart or, in some readings, across two charts. Once formed, it defines both centres it touches, and that definition is the raw material type and authority are computed from. There are exactly 36 such wires possible, no more, and which ones are complete in any given chart is settled by where the planets sat at two calculation moments — a matter of astronomy, not opinion. The meaning laid over that wiring afterwards is a lens for looking at yourself, not an instruction for who you must be.

How to read the list

Each pair is written low number first, matching how the chart itself stores them, and every channel number links through to its own page for a closer look. Four of the 36 — 12-22, 20-34, 21-45, and 35-36 — wire a motor centre directly to the Throat, and the table marks these separately, because that particular topology is what the capacity to initiate action is derived from in the system. If you want to see which of the 36 belong to you specifically, rather than the full reference set, the chart tool computes that from an exact birth moment, and it’s free to run.
