What Channel 35–36 is

Channel 35–36 runs between the Throat centre and the Solar Plexus centre, and it forms only when both Gate 35 and Gate 36 are activated. A channel of this kind is not a behaviour or a skill someone practises into being — it is a fixed wire in the bodygraph, made of two specific gates sitting at two specific centres. Either the wire is complete, because both gates were activated by the planetary positions at birth and roughly three months prior, or it is not, and no effort changes that after the fact. The chart simply reports what was true at those two calculation moments.

The two gates that make it

One end is Gate 35, seated in the Throat centre and rooted in the I Ching hexagram Tsin. The other is Gate 36, seated in the Solar Plexus centre — a motor centre — and rooted in the hexagram Ming Î. Each gate can be activated on its own, and each has its own page describing what that single gate carries. But a lone gate is a potential, not a channel: it defines nothing by itself. Only when both Gate 35 and Gate 36 are active does the wire between Throat and Solar Plexus complete, and only then does the channel exist as a structural feature of the chart.

What it defines

When the pairing is complete, Channel 35–36 defines both the Throat centre and the Solar Plexus centre. Structurally, this is notable: it wires a motor centre — the Solar Plexus — directly into the Throat, and this specific topology is what the system reads as the capacity to initiate, the distinction the system draws between a Manifestor or Manifesting Generator and a Generator or Projector.
