What you need to give us

No, you don’t need to give an email address to draw a chart here, and there’s no account to create. What the calculation genuinely needs is three things: a birth date, a birth time, and a birth place, because a chart is computed from one instant at one location and nothing else. The form also offers a name field, but that one is optional — it’s what the chart calls you, not an input the arithmetic depends on, so it isn’t counted among what’s required. Beyond those three things there’s no email field, no password, no card, and no free tier dressed up as a gift. The chart is free in the plain sense of the word.

The one thing that does ask for an email

There is exactly one feature on this site that asks for an email, and it’s stated here rather than left for you to discover later: the written blueprint. It’s optional and opt-in, and giving an address there does one thing — it sends a single email containing the blueprint link. That address is stored as a contact with our email provider, Resend, and it is not used for marketing without separate consent. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time. None of this touches the chart itself: the chart is drawn, complete and yours before an email is mentioned anywhere. The blueprint request sits further down your chart page, as an offer you can read past. Ignoring it costs you nothing and takes nothing away from the chart.

What happens to your birth details

Your birth details aren’t stored in a user record, because there’s no user record to store them in. They travel inside the chart link itself, which is why there’s nothing to log into and nothing tied to an identity sitting on a server. A blueprint link, if you ever generate one, is keyed to the chart rather than to a person, and it expires. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you won’t find a cookie banner here. The analytics behind the scenes is self-hosted, so no outside analytics company ever receives anything about your visit.

Where this has not always been true

This hasn’t always been the case, and it should be said plainly. Until 4 August 2026, our own analytics recorded the birth details encoded in chart and blueprint page addresses, and names appeared in page titles in ordinary text. Nobody set out to build that — it followed from logging page addresses on a site whose addresses happen to carry the data. We found it ourselves, auditing our own database, rather than being told by someone else. The tracker was changed on 4 August 2026 to strip those details in the browser before anything leaves it, and on 16 August 2026 the historical records were deleted outright. From the date, time and place, the chart works out your type, authority, profile, and the arrangement of the sky at that exact moment — it takes seconds, not longer. Nothing on that path asks for an email, worth repeating once more since that’s the question that brought you here. What comes out the other end is a lens for reflection, not a verdict on who you are, and what it’s worth to you is entirely yours to decide.
